Cubic polyhedra of a cypovirus occlusion body: on the left original EM, on the right a graphically enhanced version to visualize the nucleocapsids embedded in the occlusion bodies. The light spots on the surface of the polyhedra on the right hand site are surface indentations where virus particles have been lost.
